Advanced registrations are now being accepted for the St
John's Cycling Classic. The event is a fully supported, fun bike ride. The
Saturday, September 24 event is hosted by St. John's Episcopal Church in
Mason City, Iowa.
There will be 22 and 50 mile rides with water and rest stations provided. Both routes follow an out and back course featuring a variety of scenic terrain—challenging hills, beautiful river crossings and rural farm settings. Bikers will assemble from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot across from the church at 1st Street NE and Pennsylvania in Mason City, Iowa. All 22 and 50 mile riders should start by 10 a.m. There is a registration fee of $15 for individuals and $30 for a family if registered by September 9th, and $20 for individuals and $40 for a family if received after September 9. On the same morning there will also be a free three mile family ride through East Park. Following the rides there will be a fundraiser BBQ for all participants in the church yard.
