	Bear Creek Inn is the perfect getaway for the outdoorsman or for those who are just looking for rest and relaxation. Our house has a majestic elevation that overlooks the famous Bear Creek. We have 2 rooms available with a full bath, a continental breakfast is also included. A rec. room w/ a fireplace and pool table are also available for your enjoyment. Bear Creek is one of Iowa's finest trout streams and was featured on the 1999 & 2000 Iowa Trout stamp. Guests will enjoy PRIVATE fishing just a couple of minutes walk from the house. Joining this area are miles of public access to South and North Bear Creeks, these streams are stocked with brown, rainbow, and brook trout. Highland General Store is just a few minutes drive from our Inn and can handle all your tackle, bait and licensing needs.
	With the combination of wooded hillsides, deep valleys and cropland in Northeast Iowa, it creates the perfect habitat for deer, turkey, and a variety of small game. This area is well noted for it's Boone & Crocket and Pope & Young bucks as well as it's turkeys commonly exceeding 25 lbs. PRIVATE hunting is offered at Bear Creek Inn within walking distance from the house. Hundreds of acres of public hunting are within a few miles of the Inn.
	We are located just a few miles from the Upper Iowa river, which offers some of the most beautiful scenery in Iowa.
