We'll put some history here, since now that our grandkids
have come along this is a *4 Generation* involvement.
The beginning was when Dad & Mom (Tom & Marlys Kaye)
gave in on the kids' request for a pony. Mr. Jinx (adorable miniature - picture coming soon)
was purchased and quickly took over our hearts. Sadly though, the 'cold' he had when we got him was advanced pneumonia
and he had to be put down. The seeds were planted however and the search was on for a new pony. We ended up at
Schnell's Silver Crest Pony Farm, where we did come away with a new pony - but it was for Mom & Dad! - a 6 mo Shetland
stallion destined to become our first show pony. Frisco King's X of Silver Crest, halter champion and roadster pony.
Of course we had to go back and fulfull the original intent of a pony for the kids - and that was my Roadster Champion - Debbie's
Starlight of Silver Crest. [after being dumped many many times we figured out he preferred roadster to riding]
The third of our original 3 Shetlands came along shortly after that - an adorable all black little filly, Flying K's Pixie,
from the Harold and Ruth King ranch.
