Christian Fiction!

It has just been within the last few years I have begun to understand how much I enjoy Christian fiction.  The purpose of this page is to share a few of the books our family has really enjoyed.

Nikki Arana contacted me a few months ago and asked me to add her original column regarding Christian fiction and interviews with authors to our family web page.  We have done this with pleasure.  A link to her column's is found here:     http://home.rconnect.com/~coffeyhome/id11.html

Some of our favorite authors include:

Joel C. Rosenberg is one of the newer Christian authors and I have really enjoyed his work.  He currently has four fiction books out and 1 non-fiction.  The Ezekiel Option cover is illustrated here.  The four fiction books are a series.  But they can each be read in whatever order you choose.  When I first read his works, I started with the "Ezekiel Option" which is just excellent and based upon the book of Ezekiel.

Joel's other fictional works (in order) include:  "The Last Jihad," and "The Last Days," "The Ezekiel Option," and "The Copper Scroll."

Here is a link to Joel's web page.  It includes information about him, his books and his understanding of biblical phophecy, especially regarding the Book of Ezekiel.  http://www.joelrosenberg.com/default.asp

The "Left behind" series is written by authors Tim LaHaye & Jerry B. Jenkins.  It is very well known to Christians around the world.  But in case you haven't read the series, you should consider giving them a read.  The series is about what happens to the world when the book of Revelation comes literally true.  I put off reading this series for several years because I just thought it would be impossible to capture the spirit of the book of Revelation in a novel series.  I was wrong.
