Capitalism, or business, is one of the last truly democratic institutions where we all get to vote with our dollars.
There are no political parties, it is simple economics. We will get what we pay for time after time. If we spend
our money on trash, you can be sure business will give us more similar trash. If we spend our money on worthwhile movies
and entertainment, business will provide more of the same.
We have so much trash, pornography and so on because that is where so many people spend their money. There are
many Christians in the United States and elsewhere around the world. If we would be more careful, as Christians, where
we spend our money, the entertainment industry would change very quickly.
I have a huge concern for today's children. They are exposed to so much. Pop culture
won't lead them to Jesus. They won't fare well being exposed to one hour of church a week and 45 hours of pop culture
on prime-time TV and the internet. But this is a large concern for me, I hope it will be a concern for you.
What we bring into our homes has a profound effect on each of us. Choose carefully.
