Ramesh Ponnuru, author of "The Party of Death."
"Roe v. Wade made abortion legal at any stage of pregnancy for essentially any
reason. Even though Roe has been debated for more than a generation now, the vast majority of Americans still don’t
know this. They think, incorrectly, that Roe applied only to the first trimester. They don’t realize that this
is a policy supported by only about 10 percent of the American public, and a policy that is far more extreme than that of
any European country."
"Roe has always been something of a laughingstock intellectually. It is very hard to maintain
that anyone who ratified the Constitution and its amendments meant to protect abortion. It’s just not there. Over time
Roe has grown politically weaker too. Over the last fifteen years the public, influenced by technological developments
such as the spread of ultrasound imaging and political developments such as the campaign against partial-birth abortion, has
moved in a pro-life direction. Young people are now more pro-life than their elders. So I’m optimistic that Roe
will eventually fall. And then abortion policy will be set democratically. Some states, such as California, will probably
keep first-trimester abortion legal. But almost all states will ban late-term abortions, and some states will ban most abortions.
I hope that what happens is that pro-lifers move incrementally to build a culture of life. In short, the end of Roe
doesn’t mean pro-lifers win the policy debate. It just means we get to have the policy debate that Roe short-circuited:
We have the chance to persuade our fellow citizens to protect life."

Dr. J (Julius Erving)
When I gave my life to Jesus Christ, I began to understand my
true purpose for being here. It's not to go through life and experience as many things as you possibly can and then turn to
dust and be no more. The purpose of life is to be found through having Christ in your life, and understanding what His plan
is, and following that plan.
My Christian faith has helped me put my priorities in order.
If I put God number one and my family after that, along with my social existence and my job, I can withstand any attack or
criticism
Kurt Warner, NFL MVP, former University of Northern Iowa quarterback
"Growing up I'd always put my life on one side and my relationship
with God on the other. I knew God was there, but I only called upon Him when I needed Him or felt compelled to thank Him.
Eventually, I realized I needed to live every day for Him."
What do you give? A listening ear, a smile, time, friendship, understanding-anything that represents you.
God wants you to let your love spill over to others. This is the part of giving that brings joy to other people and in turn
to you, "pressed down, shaken together, and running over."
Evelyn Roberts, From Daily Guide to Miracles 9/23/2005
The attitude of fortitude brings confidence. In I Samuel 17, when Goliath came up
against the Israelites, the cowards saw him and said, "He’s so big, no one can ever kill him." Young David looked at
the giant and said, "He’s so big, no one can miss him!" It’s all in your attitude and how you look at a situation.
John Hagee, From Daily Guide to Miracles, 7/22/05
"This is all the inheritance I can give my dear family. The religion of Christ can give them one which
will make them rich indeed.”
—From the Last Will and Testament of Patrick Henry
An attitude of fortitude transforms adversity into attainment. Adversity is nothing more than resistance. Without the resistance
of water, a ship can’t float. Without the resistance of air, a plane can’t fly. Without the resistance of gravity,
you can’t walk. Adversity is actually opportunity to those who possess the attitude of fortitude. John Hagee, from Daily
Guide to Miracles, 7/22/05
In regard to this great book, I have but to say, it is the
best gift God has given to man. All the good Savior gave to the world was communicated through this book. But for it we could
not know right from wrong. All things most desirable for man's welfare, here and hereafter, are to found portrayed in it.
Abraham LIincoln
“ God governs in the affairs of man. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice,
is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? We have been assured in the Sacred Writings that except the Lord build
the house, they labor in vain that build it. I firmly believe this. I also believe that, without His concurring aid, we shall
succeed in this political building no better than the builders of Babel” –Benjamin
Franklin,Constitutional Convention of 1787
"Remember, if you make the mistake of constantly speaking negative words over your children, you are cursing
their future. Moreover, God will hold you responsible for destroying their destiny. With authority comes responsibility,
and you have the responsiblility as the spirtual authority over your child to make sure he feels loved, accepted, and approved.
You have the responsibility to bless your children."
Pastor Joel Osteen, "Your Best Life Now," Warner Faith, 2004, p. 133.
"Don't tale for granted what God has done for you. You may have some obstacles today, but some people
would give anything in the world to have your life. Some people would give anything to have your health or your prosperity.
Living in America, we have so much for which we should be grateful. We should stop emphasizing what's wrong and start
thanking God for what's right."
Pastor Joel Osteen, "Your Best Life Now," Warner Faith, 2004, p. 276.
"It's extremely important that we know how to live a life of peace.
If we are going to do that, we need to be flexible and willing to make some adjustments. When things happen that would
normally bother us, we have to put our foot down and say, "No, I'm not going to let that take my peace. I'm going to
rule over my emotions. I'm not going to allow myself to get upset and aggravated. I'm going to chose to be happy."
Pastor Joel Osteen, "Your Best Life Now," Warner Faith, 2004, pp.
270-271.
"Start calling yourself healed, happy, whole, blessed, and prosperous.
Stop talking to God about how big your mountains are, and start talking to your mountains about how big your God is!"

We live in a world that seems ready to burst under the rising pressures of natural and spirtual threats. The strains
of terrorism and natural disasters are merely part of the dark forces our ages-old adversary is relentlessly leveraging against
us during the short time he has (see Rev. 12:12) Make no mistake: In these last days, the devil is targeting your family,
your health and your spiritual life as never before"
Charisma, July 2005, David Cannistraci, A Strang Publication, p. 53
"Particularly
pernicious is the leftist idea that it's legitimate to base your politics on anything except religion," he said. "You
can say that my politics are based on the views of Karl Marx or Ayn Rand or Jane Fonda … and that's OK, but as soon
as you say your worldview is based on the Bible, that's considered an illegitimate basis for embracing certain political views."

And that is why brothers and sisters, the liberal
anti-God left, in this country, refuses to give an up and down vote, in the Senate, for judges that are Christian.

"In cases like this one, where there are serious questions and substantial
doubts, our society, our laws and our courts should have a presumption in favor of life."
I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exhalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places
will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh

"You've made some bad choices in life, haven't you? You've chosen the wrong friends, maybe the wrong career, even
the wrong spouse. You look back over your life and say, "If only . . . if only I could make up for those bad choices."
You can. One good choice for eternity offsets a thousand bad ones on earth.
The choice is yours."

"I cannot tell you how inspired and sustained and comforted I am by the fact that millions of people, many
of whom I will never see, are praying for me. It's one of the most unique aspects of the presidency. I don't know any other
world leaders who can say that about the people of their country, which speaks volumes about America."
President George W. Bush
It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible. Do not ever let anyone claim to be
a true American patriot if they ever attempt to separate Religion from politics.

If a government were put in charge of the Sahara Desert, within five years, they'd have a shortage of sand."

Liberals seem to assume that, if you don't believe in their particular political solutions, then you don't
really care about the people that they claim to want to help. -- Dr. Thomas Sowell
You can call it mysticism if you want to, but I have always believed that there was some divine plan that placed this great

of courage.

The only thing in the world you can change is yourself, and that makes all the difference in the world.
Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing the only thing they can change; themselves. Dr. John Hagee, from The Seven Secrets, 2004, p. 100.
