God loved the world so much that he gave
his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the
world to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him.
Jesus of Nazareth, John 3:16-17 NCV
This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent
his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
Apostle John, 1 John 4:10 NLT

Paul
explains Christian Love very well:
Love
is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable,
and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins
out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
I Cor 13:4-7 NLT

| Jesus loved you enough to die for your sins! |
You are God's chosen race, his saints; he loves you, and you should be clothed in sincere compassion,
in kindness and humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with one another; forgive each other as soon as a quarrel begins.
The Lord has forgiven you; now you must do the same. Over all these clothes, to keep them together and complete them, put
on love.
Paul (Col 3:12-14 JB)
Concerning the Gentiles, God says in the prophecy
of Hosea,
“Those
who were not my people,
I
will now call my people.
And
I will love those
whom
I did not love before.
And,
“Once
they were told,
‘You
are not my people.’
But
now he will say,
‘You
are children of the living God.'
Romans 9:25-26

Love is a term that is used in many ways by
our society. On this site, I will always be speaking about "love" in it's biblical meaning. Paul tells us that
"love" is something and then tells us what that something is. (see the verse avove) It is not an emotion but a
behavior. The bible states we must "put on love." That means it is something we do on pupose.
“You have heard
that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor£ and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you: Love your enemies£ and pray for those
who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and
sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” Matthew 5:43-45
Jesus Loves You,
He died for your sins.
Hatred stirs up quarrels, but love
covers all offenses.
Proverbs 10:12 NLT
For the LORD
corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights. Proverbs 3:12 NLT
